The City of Sherman in Texas is soliciting bids for painting and remodeling of an existing city building.

Exterior work requires application of a two-coat latex system on aluminum and galvanized metal substrates, and a three-coat latex system on ferrous metal and structural steel substrates.
Interior work is scheduled to include applying a three-coat latex system on concrete masonry units, drywall, aluminum, galvanized metal, structural steel and galvanized metal surfaces. Specified metal surfaces will require a three-coat latex and epoxy system.
Surfaces will require preparation in accordance with standards for Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), Hand Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2) and Surface Preparation of Concrete (SSPC-SP 13/NACE No. 6).
The owner-approved manufacturers for this project are Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams, or an approved equal.
