Avon Grove Charter School in Pennsylvania is soliciting bids for interior and exterior renovations to an existing school building.
The submittal date for this project is Oct. 4. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Sept. 13 at the project site.
Scope of Work
This project involves painting and renovations to Kemblesville Early Learning Center in Landenberg, Pennsylvania.
Exterior work involves application of a two-coat latex system on wood, plastic and shop-primed ferrous metal substrates. A three-coat latex system will be applied to concrete, unprimed ferrous and galvanized metal substrates and new wood and plastic substrates.

Interior work is scheduled to include application of a two-coat latex system on shop-primed ferrous metal surfaces. A three-coat latex system is required on wood, gypsum board, unprimed ferrous metal surfaces and insulated coverings. A single-coat of latex will be applied to gypsum board surfaces under vinyl wall covering, as well as exposed metal deck and joists.
Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3).
Owner-specified manufacturers for this project include Behr, Benjamin Moore & Co., PPG Paints, Sherwin-Williams and Tnemec.
