Contractors Needed for TX Standpipe Tank Rehab

The City of Bellville in Austin County, Texas, is currently seeking contractors for the rehabilitation of a 116,000-gallon standpipe.

Bids are due Aug. 22.

Scope of Work

This project involves interior and exterior coating application on an existing 116,000-gallon standpipe.

This project also includes the abrasive blast-cleaning of all areas to Commercial standards (SSPC-SP 6/ NACE No. 3). Interior surfaces above the high-water line of the standpipe will be cleaned using the standards associated with Near White (SSPC-SP 10/ NACE No 2).

Austin County

The City of Bellville in Austin County, Texas, is currently seeking contractors for the rehabilitation of a 116,000-gallon standpipe.

All interior surfaces are to be coated using a three-coat system that is composed of a zinc-rich primer and two coats of a polyamide epoxy topcoat. The exterior surfaces will receive a coating of a four-coat system that is comprised of a zinc rich primer, epoxy intermediate, polyurethane second intermediate and fluoropolymer topcoat.

Logo coating is required for this project.

The singular brand specified for this project is Tnemec.

Both disinfection and dehumidification are required.
