Aegion Coating Services (ACS) is seeking an Coatings Applicator.
ACS, a subsidiary of Aegion Corporation, has engineered, designed, built and serviced its own fleet of coating equipment. ACS is the indisputable leader in field joint anti-corrosion coating with more than 2 million field joints coated worldwide. With 3 plants located in Texas, Louisiana & California, the ability to coat various sizes and shapes of pipe, bends, valves and other fabrications, both internally and externally with FBE, Epoxy and Urethanes, ACS completes over 1600 projects annually. Responsibilities - Prepare surfaces for coating application to pipe, fittings and other products using Power Tools, Masking, De-greasing, Containment, Thinner wiping, Spray Painting and Blasting
- Responsible for loading & unloading trucks
- Product handling throughout the customer coating operation
- Responsible for maintaining equipment used in custom coating operation
- Operate various power tools in accordance with company safety policy
Qualifications - High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months work experience required
- Must possess the ability to properly and safely load and unload equipment from trucks
- Must possess a valid drivers license and successfully pass drug test, background check and driving record check
