REQUIREMENTS Educational: High School Diploma
Physical: Ability to lift up to 35-50lbs repetitively, ability to stand for
8-12 hour shift, ability to reach below shoulder height,
stoop, crouch, bend, must have manual dexterity.
Must pass pulmonary function test.
Skills: Able to understand the function of any and all paint equipment
used in daily operations
Able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, procedures, work instructions, visual aids, and process routers
Able to operate all paint equipment to the expectations of management
Able to clean and/or do minor repairs to paint equipment
Able to record and report information
Able to do all laborer and inspector positions
Able to communicate job to another person
Training: 5 days or 40 hours. All required safety and environmental
training

JOB DUTIES
- Mix paint and primer per specifications, TDS and Process Monitor Sheets
- Paint material according to router instructions, TDS and Process Monitor Sheets
- Apply primer and/or topcoat on parts with no runs, sags, blisters, craters, brush marks, etc.
- Remove filters, hang new ones daily
- Clean spray gun and equipment
- Perform rework and minor metal finishing
- Give great attention to detail throughout entire process (i.e. cleaning, part preparation, masking, paint/powder coating, inspection and packaging)
- Ensure compliance to customer standards and requirements.
- Assist in determining root causes and brainstorming corrective actions for all
external and internal quality concerns
- Wear personal protective equipment and follow all safety and environmental regulations and requirements
- Keep work area clean
- Actively participate in conditional improvement opportunities, creative solutions and ideas to achieve zero non-conformances.
