Scope of Work
This project involves construction and painting of the new Girard Fire Station located along State Highway 23 in Girard, Georgia.
Interior work is scheduled to include application of a three-coat latex system on ferrous metal surfaces, galvanized metal surfaces, gypsum board surfaces, and ceilings. A three-coat latex and satin polyurethane system will be applied to wood trim and panel backers.

Surfaces will require cleaning and preparation in accordance with standards for Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), Hand Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2), Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3), Brush-Off Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 7/NACE No. 4) and Bare Metal Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 11).
Owner-specified manufacturers for this project include Benjamin Moore & Co., Chemetall Oakite, Duron and Sherwin-Williams.
