Scope of Work
This project involves painting, HVAC repairs and site work at Delaware Department of Transportation Administration Building in Dover, Delaware.
Exterior work involves application of a three-coat system of alkyd on unprimed ferrous metal substrates.
Interior work is scheduled to include application of a single-coat system of latex on wood surfaces, a three-coat system of latex and block filler on concrete/masonry surfaces, a two-coat system of latex on primed ferrous metal surfaces and a three-coat system of latex and alkyd on gypsum board and plaster surfaces.

Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), Hand Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2) and Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3).
The owner-specified manufacturers for this project include Benjamin Moore & Co., Duron Inc., ICI Paints and Sherwin-Williams.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, at the project site.
