The City of Milwaukee is soliciting bids for painting and repairs to a parking garage.
The submittal date for this project is April 11.
Scope of Work
This project involves painting and site work at the Second and Plankinton Parking Garage, on N. Second Street in Milwaukee.
Interior work is scheduled to include application of a three-coat system of latex on non-traffic concrete surfaces and concrete masonry units, a three-coat system of latex and alkyd-urethane on metal surfaces, and a four-coat system of latex on gypsum board surfaces.
Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Hand Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2), Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3), Brush-Off Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 7/NACE No. 4), Bare Metal Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 11) and Surface Preparation of Concrete (SSPC-SP 13/NACE No. 6).
