Exterior work involves a three-coat system of latex on ferrous metal, galvanized metal and aluminum substrates.
Interior work is scheduled to include a two-coat system of latex on concrete surfaces, a three-coat system of latex and epoxy on gypsum board surfaces, a three-coat system of stain and polyurethane on wood surfaces, and a three-coat system of latex on aluminum, steel and galvanized metal surfaces.
Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), Hand Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2), Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3), Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3) and Near-White Metal Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 10/NACE No. 2).
The owner-specified manufacturers for this project are Benjamin Moore & Co., Glidden, PPG Paints and Sherwin-Williams.
