Shasta Community Services District (SCSD) is soliciting bids for the construction of two buildings, as well as related mainline and appurtenances, in Redding, California.

Shasta Community Services District (SCSD) is soliciting bids for the construction of two buildings, as well as related mainline and appurtenances, in Redding, California.

Exterior work involves a three-coat system of polyurethane on exposed structural steel, and a three-coat system of latex and polyurethane on hollow metal doors and frames.
Interior work is scheduled to include a three-coat system of latex on gypsum board surfaces.
Structural steel members will require shop priming, and connectors and anchors will require hot-dip galvanizing. Galvanized steel will require two coats of fluoropolymer.
Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Hand Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2), Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3), Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3) and Near-White Metal Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 10/NACE No. 2).
The owner-specified manufacturers for this project are Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams or approved equal.
