The City of Palmdale is soliciting bids for phase two construction, renovations and additions to a community park in Palmdale, California.

Exterior work involves a three-coat system of epoxy and a three-coat system of epoxy and urethane on steel, concrete and masonry substrates. Three-coat systems of epoxy, latex and urethane will be required on fiber-cement board substrates. Two- and three-coat systems of epoxy, zinc and urethane will be required on specified steel substrates. Three-coat systems of vinyl, epoxy and urethane will be required on galvanized metal, copper and aluminum substrates.
Interior work is scheduled to include a three-coat system of latex on steel, galvanized metal and gypsum board surfaces. Three-coat systems of epoxy and urethane are required on concrete and masonry surfaces. A three-coat system of epoxy is required on fiber-cement board surfaces.
Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), White Metal Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 5/NACE No. 1), Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3), Brush-Off Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 7/NACE No. 4), Near-White Metal Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 10/NACE No. 2) and Bare Metal Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 11).
The owner-specified manufacturers for this project are Benjamin Moore, Dunn-Edwards, Glidden, PPG, Sherwin-Williams and Vista Paint.
