Millen Housing Authority is soliciting bids for painting and upgrades to two three-bedroom housing units in Millen, Georgia.

Exterior work involves a three-coat system of alkyd on steel substrates, and three-coat system of alkyd primer and two latex topcoats on wood substrates.
Interior work is scheduled to include a three-coat system of alkyd on steel surfaces, and a three-coat system of latex on wood, wood panel, gypsum board and masonry surfaces.
Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3) and Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6).
The owner-specified manufacturers for this project are Benjamin Moore, Coronado, ICI Paints, Kelly-Moore, Porter Paints, PPG and Sherwin-Williams.
