Exterior work involves a four-coat system consisting of latex on concrete, masonry, plastic trim and plaster substrates; a three-coat system of latex on cement board, wood and aluminum substrates; and a five-coat system of alkyd on steel, iron and galvanized metal substrates.
Interior work is scheduled to include a three-coat system of latex on galvanized metal, aluminum and wood surfaces; a five-coat system of latex on gypsum board and plaster surfaces; and a two-coat system of latex on acoustic panels and tiles.
Surfaces are to be cleaned and prepared according to standards for Hand Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2), Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3), Brush-Off Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 7/NACE No. 4), and Bare Metal Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 11).
