The Texas Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the construction of a new administration building.

In this project, all exterior CMU substrates are to be coated using a three-coat system consisting of one coat of block filler and two topcoats.
Also, exterior steel and iron substrates are to be coated using a three-coat system that is made up of one coat of primer followed by two coats of alkyd. Finally, all interior gypsum board substrates are to be coated using a three-coat system to consist of one coat of primer followed by and intermediate and topcoat of latex.
All metal surfaces are to be cleaned using the standards associated with Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), Hand-Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2) and Power-Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3).
The brands specified for this project are Benjamin Moore, PPG and Sherwin-Williams.
