All gypsum board and plaster substrates are to be coated using a three-coat system that is comprised of three coats of latex. Finally, steel substrates on the interior are to be coated using a three-coat system made up of one coat of primer and two coats of latex.
Steel surfaces are to be cleaned using the standards associated with Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3).
The brands specified for this project are Benjamin Moore, Pratt & Lambert and Sherwin-Williams.
