In this project, all exterior concrete masonry units will be coated using a two-coat system. This system will consist of one prime coat followed by one coat of elastomeric coating.
Also, all exterior metal siding, flashing and door frames will be coated using a three-coat system. This system will be made up of one prime coat, and two coats of acrylic coating.
Surfaces to be touch-up painted are to be prepared using the standards associated with Hand-Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2), and Power-Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3).
The sole brand specified for this project is Sherwin-Williams.
