Bids Wanted for IL Train Station Reno

The City of Naperville, Illinois, is seeking bids for improvement of the Naperville Metra Fourth Avenue Train Station.

The submittal date for this project is July 20.

Scope of Work

This project involves the improvement of a train station located in Naperville, Illinois. In this project, all interior gypsum board surfaces are to be coated using a three-coat system that consists of one coat of primer and two coats of latex.

The City of Naperville, Illinois, is seeking bids for improvement of the Naperville Metra Fourth Avenue Train Station.

Shop-primed steel is to be coated using a three-coat system made up of one coat of primer and two coats of latex. Also, galvanized steel is to be coated using a three-coat system. This system will comprise one coat of primer and two coats of latex. Finally, exposed conduits in this project will be coated using a three-coat system consisting of one coat of primer and two coats of latex.

Metal surfaces to be coated are to be prepared using the standards associated with Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), Hand-Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2) and Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6).

The brands specified for this project are PPG and Sherwin-Williams.
