The King County Housing Authority in Washington is seeking bids for building renovations at Abbey Ridge Apartments in Seattle.

All exterior surfaces will be coated using a two-coat system consisting of two coats of primer. All exterior cement surfaces will be coated using a three-coat system. Doors and wraps on the exterior will be coated using a two-coat system consisting of two coats of gloss. Any exterior wood fence surface will be coated using a two-coat system consisting of an acrylic satin.
An interior fiberglass entry door and millwork will be coated using a two-coat system consisting of latex and acrylic semi-gloss. All interior wood doors and trim will be coated using a three-coat system consisting of latex and two coats of an acrylic semi-gloss. Any interior gypsum surface will be coated using a two-coat system consisting of primer followed by latex. Finally, interior bathroom and kitchen surfaces will be coated using a two-coat system that consists of a latex semi-gloss.
Surface preparation occurring on touch-up primer will use the standards associated with SSPC SP 15, Type 1, red oxide. All galvanized surfaces receiving touch-up primer will be prepared using the standards associated with SSCP Paint 20 Type I inorganic zinc rich.
Approved coating manufacturers are: Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Pratt & Lambert, Rodda Paints and Glidden.
