This project involves recoating and rehabilitating the interior surfaces of an existing 2-million-gallon ground water storage tank.

The City of Simi Valley is currently seeking contractors to recoat and rehabilitate the Rocketdyne Water Tank in Simi Valley, California.
Contractors will abrasive blast-clean the interior tank surfaces to Near White standards (SSPC-SP 10/NACE No.2). The interior surfaces will then be coated with an epoxy system.
The work also includes removing and reinstalling the current cathodic protection system.
Contractors will also perform dehumidification services.
Owner-approved coating manufacturers include Tnemec, International, Sherwin-Williams or an approved equal.
