Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring that production team meets daily production goals
  • Coordinates employees in various job assignments to maximize productivity
  • Collects signed Extra Work Orders from GC’s and communicates with PM when asked to perform additional work
  • Communicates and interacts effectively, courteously, and professionally with General Contractors, Superintendents, and Co-Workers
  • Ensures operation tools and equipment in good working order and available
  • Responsibility to Audit/verify proper PPEs are being utilized
  • Ownership and response to safety issues
  • Actively communicate safety updates, policies, and weekly tool-box topics
  • Ensure team members are properly utilizing timekeeping tool
  • Identify team opportunities for improvement - Production, Safety, Quality, Training, etc.
  • Conduct Performance Evaluations, coach, and mentor direct reports

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in the Commercial/Light Industrial Coatings industry
  • 2+ years of management/supervisory level experience preferred
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills including training, coaching, and motivating
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and effectively manage conflicts
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems and recommend solutions
  • Ability to manage production budgets and drive project efficiency
  • Must possess basic knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work non-standard hours as required
