Technical Coatings Advisors

We are currently receiving applications for Coatings Advisors to support our business in Florida and Bahamas.  The ideal candidates will be located in Jacksonville, FL or Tampa, FL area and will have experience with surface preparation and application of marine and industrial coatings.  Knowledge of quality assurance in coatings application and NACE certification required.  The position reports to the Technical Service Manager and will be responsible to independently, as a coating advisor, attend projects within the Marine segment in order to provide professional technical advice to our customers by advising on best practice and to ensure that projects that Jotun is supplying to are managed according to agreed specifications and contracts.  Frequent travel, specifically to the Bahamas, is to be expected.

Job Responsibilities:

Carry out inspections of specific projects assigned to you by your direct manager and work independently, efficiently and seek practical solutions.

Responsible for contact to direct manager, sales and/or CSD for supplies and other relevant project issues.

Communicate effectively with customers, applicators, supervisors and relevant Jotun colleagues including reporting according to Jotun's standard documentation policy.
