Atterro, Inc. is looking for an Industrial Painter in the Northwest Houston area with experience mixing paint. Apply today!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operates a spray painter to apply industrial paint finishes on metal products.
• Ability to use high air-pressure sandblasting equipment, chemical application, chipping hammer, power tools and abrasives to prepare surface for painting.
• Ability to learn application techniques and gain knowledge.
• Ability to follow work orders or receive instructions from Dept. Lead.
• Respiratory protection is common and required in many applications.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Reports any line problems or issues to supervisor for assistance.
• Perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Performs other functions/duties as required.

Required education or minimum level:

• High school education (GED).
• Apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty preferred.

Experience:

• 2 - 3 years experience in the field or in a related area.

Software Knowledge:

• Basic Computer skills, and/or other required software

Skills:

• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Has knowledge of application techniques.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, machines, equipment.


Mental Power:

Ability to determine appropriate courses of action in more complex situations that may be not addressed by existing policies, procedures or protocols. Decisions include such matters as changes in policy and regulations, order in which work is done, and application of established procedures.

Physical Power:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and safety work boots.
