A local Auburn Hills, Michigan company who are innovative and provide turn-key solutions for manufacturing processes that include: Industrial Spray Booths, Industrial Paint Bake Ovens, VOC Abatement Systems and Energy projects are seeking several Direct Hire Sr. Controls Engineers.
We are seeking Sr. Controls Engineers with 5-7+ years of experience with Industrial Paint projects, Process Control Loops, VFD’s, Combustion Systems, Instrumentation & Allen Bradley. We are seeking Sr. Controls Engineers who have an understanding of instrumentation, control devices such as pneumatic/electrical actuators, valves, and sensors.
Qualified Sr. Controls Engineers will have the following skills & experience:

Must have experience in software design, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming.

Must be able to travel 10%-15% for field support to perform baseline data collection, coordination during construction activities and startup of systems.

Must generate system specifications, select equipment, drawings and construction documents for complete system integration.

Field support for troubleshooting of problems.

Technical production skills as necessary to produce design and construction documents.

Must have both hardware & software design- AB PLC5, SLC's, Control Logix, VFD's, Combustion Systems, Control Loops and Instrumentation.

Must have working knowledge of AutoCAD - riser diagrams, panel layout, PLC I/O & NEC Code knowledge.

BSEE preferred, however not required
The position is a Direct Hire, Full Time with a starting salary range of $70K-$120K per year and is based on experience and education. We also offer excellent benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Yearly Bonus/Profit Sharing, Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays.
