We are working with one of our best clients that is a global innovative manufacturing company with over 50 years in their industry. They are looking to bring on talented Process Technicians on to their metalizing team.
JOB SUMMARY
This production floor position is responsible for ensuring efficient operation of the metalizing process line operation and coating/ application systems. Monitors the coating process, including overall product consistency and quality. Investigates problems, identifies root cause, and troubleshoots all stages of the process. Analyzes processes and methods and delivers improvements to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manages the coatings processes during daily production, including monitoring system parameters, job card approvals and investigating, analyzing and resolving application issues.
Manages cleaning and maintenance of paint systems, and trains Coating Line Operators on systems and paint gun cleaning and maintenance.
Teaches Coating Line Operators techniques related to new and process methods projects.
Adjusts and manipulates processes as needed to produce a quality product at designated rates.
Manages spare parts of spraying system, including guns and all additional devices.
Diagnoses and repairs electrical issues including sensors, relays, servo systems, motor controls, and PLCs.
Adjusts robot positions, coordinate types, jog, and troubleshoot errors, when necessary.
Documents equipment history through Syteline and PMxpert.
Partners with department leaders on tooling design approvals.
Leads technical Metalizing team when Lead Metalizing Technician is unavailable.
