The City of Folsom, California, is currently seeking contractors for a project that involves rehabilitating five ground water storage tanks at various locations.

Scope of Work
The project involves performing various repairs, as well as cleaning and coating interior and exterior surfaces of the tanks.
According to the specifications, interior surfaces will be abrasive blast-cleaned to a Near White Metal Finish (SSPC-SP 10/NACE No. 2) and recoated with a two-coat epoxy system, as well as a stripe coat on edges and seams.
Exterior surfaces will be cleaned with high-pressure water (10,000 psi minimum) and spot coated with a four coat epoxy-polyurethane system.
The project also includes cleaning and coating various piping and other metal appurtenances with a variety of coating systems.
The owner-approved coating manufacturers are Tnemec, Sherwin-Williams, Carboline, Devoe, Ameron and Global Eco Technologies.
Contractor certifications for SSPC-QP 1 and QP 2 are required.
