The submittal date for this project is May 16. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for April 19 at 10:30 a.m. CT at the Houston Airport System Infrastructure Division Office Building.
Scope of Work
This project involves painting and restroom upgrades at Terminal A in George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Interior work is scheduled to include a four-coat system of alkyd and latex on steel surfaces, and a three-coat system of latex on gypsum board surfaces. Interior work also involves galvanized touch-ups on hangers and supports.

Surfaces will require cleaning and preparation in accordance with standards for Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3), Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3) and Brush-off Blast Cleaning of Coated and Uncoated Galvanized Steel, Stainless Steels and Non-Ferrous Metals (SSPC-SP 16).
The owner-specified manufacturers for this project include Benjamin Moore & Co., Duron, Inc., Glidden, PPG Paints and Pratt & Lambert.
