The Missouri University of Science and Technology is seeking bids for the construction of a new 3-story welcome center in Rolla, Missouri.
The submittal date for this project is April 10.
Scope of Work
This project includes but is not limited to site demolition, concrete foundations, masonry, structural steel framing, rough and finish carpentry, membrane roofing, waterproofing, firestopping, wood siding, resilient flooring and tile carpeting.
Interior and exterior work scheduled are to include a three-coat system of latex on gypsum board, concrete, aluminum, galvanized surfaces, plaster, interior and exterior wood and metal doors.

Surfaces shall be cleaned and prepared according to SSPC-SP 1 (Solvent Cleaning), SSPC-SP 2 (Hand Tool Cleaning), SSPC-SP 3 (Power Tool Cleaning), SSPC-SP 6 (Commercial Blast Cleaning) and SSPC-SP 7 (Brush-Off Blast Cleaning).
The owner specified manufacturers for this project include Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams, PPG and Wolf Gordon.
