The South Orange County Community College District in Mission Viejo, California, is soliciting bids for the remodeling and painting of the Irvine Valley College Library.
The submittal date for this project is April 18.
Scope of Work
This project involves remodeling and improvements to the Irvine Valley College Library, including, but not limited to, demolition of interior partitions, flooring replacement and repair, wall and ceiling finishing, and replacement of windows and curtain wall systems.
Interior work is scheduled to include application of a four-coat latex system on all wood/woodwork and gypsum board. It should also include application of a three-coat latex system on concrete and metal surfaces.
Exterior work includes application of a three-coat latex system on woodwork, wood doors, plaster and stucco and metal surfaces.

The new woodwork shall be cleaned and sandpapered. It is also requested that abrasives and/or edged tools not be used in this process.
Owner-specified manufacturers for this project include Dunn-Edwards, Frazee Paint, Vista Paint, Sherwin Willams, ICI Paints or approved equals.
