Contractors Needed for MI Water Tank Coating

The City of Kalamazoo in Michigan is currently seeking contractors for the coating and improvement of one 200,000-gallon spheroid water tower.

Bids are due March 27.

Scope of Work

This project includes the Near-White Metal Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 10/NACE No. 2) and coating of wet interior tank surfaces using a two-coat epoxy coating system.

This project requires the Commercial Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3) and coating the exterior tank surfaces with a three-coat epoxy/urethane/fluoropolymer coating system.
