Seattle Public Schools is soliciting bids for improvements to a high school gymnasium.
The submittal date for this project is April 4.
Scope of Work
This project involves interior painting and renovations to Franklin High School in Seattle.
Interior work is scheduled to include a three-coat system of latex on gypsum wallboard, wood trim, plywood, metal fabrications, structural steel and concrete wall substrates. A two-coat system of latex is required on steel deck and exposed structural steel surfaces. Specified gypsum wallboard surfaces will receive a three-coat latex-epoxy system.
Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), Hand Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2), Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3), Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3) and Surface Preparation of Concrete (SSPC-SP 13/NACE No. 6).
