Henrico County, Virginia, is soliciting bids for the rehabilitation of a public works building.
The submittal date for this project is Feb. 23.
Scope of Work
This project involves painting and renovations to 12,820 square feet of office and bathroom space at the county’s Administration Annex in Henrico, Virginia.
Interior work is scheduled to include application of a three-coat latex system on gypsum board, zinc-coated metal and ferrous metal surfaces, including hollow metal, steel doors and frames. A three-coat epoxy system is required on specified gypsum board surfaces.

Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3) and Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3).
The owner-specified manufacturers for this project are Benjamin Moore & Co., PPG Paints and Sherwin-Williams.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and job walk are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Feb. 9 at the project site.
