This project involves painting and renovations to approximately 20,000 square feet of an inpatient unit and a 7,500 square-foot ground floor space at the White River Junction VA Medical Center in White River Junction, Vermont.

Exterior work involves a three-coat system of latex on new and existing galvanized metal substrates.
Interior work is scheduled to include two- and three-coat systems of latex on gypsum board surfaces, a three-coat system of latex and epoxy on specified gypsum board partitions, a three-coat system of latex on ferrous metal surfaces, a three-coat system of epoxy on metal railings, and a three-coat system of wood filler and polyurethane on wood surfaces.
Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), Hand Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2), Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3) and Pickling (SSPC-SP 8).
The owner-specified manufacturers for this project are Benjamin Moore & Co., PPG Paints, Sherwin-Williams or approved equal.
