The Orlando Housing Authority is soliciting bids for the exterior painting of 70 single-story housing units in Orlando, Florida.

Exterior work involves a two-coat system of latex on wood, concrete, masonry, stucco and aluminum surfaces, including doors, trimming, soffits and facias. A two-coat system of latex is also required on ferrous, galvanized and zinc-coated metal surfaces. Specified concrete, masonry and cementitious surfaces will receive a primer coat of block filler.
Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), Hand Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2) and Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3). Pressure washing will also be required on specified surfaces.
The owner-specified manufacturer for this project is Sherwin-Williams.
