The City of South Lake Tahoe is soliciting bids for renovations at a recreational complex in South Lake Tahoe, California.

Exterior work involves a three-coat system of latex and alkyd on galvanized and non-galvanized ferrous metal substrates. A three-coat system of latex is required on aluminum, cement plaster, concrete, wood and specified galvanized metal substrates.
Interior work is scheduled to include a three-coat system of latex on wood, gypsum board, concrete masonry units, shop-primed steel surfaces and exposed metal structures. A three-coat system of latex and epoxy will be required on medium duty doors and trim.
Surfaces will require preparation in accordance with standards for Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), Hand Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2), Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3), Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3), Surface Preparation of Concrete (SSPC-SP 13), and Brush-Off Blast Cleaning of Coated and Uncoated Galvanized Steel, Stainless Steels and Non-Ferrous Metals (SSPC-SP 16).
The owner-specified manufacturers for this project are Benjamin Moore & Co., Carboline, Dunn-Edwards, Glidden Professional, PPG, Sherwin-Williams, Tnemec or approved equal.
