The Oregon Department of Administrative Services is soliciting bids for painting and remodeling at a youth correctional facility in Tillamook, Oregon.

Exterior work involves a three-coat system of alkyd on steel and galvanized metal substrates and a two-coat system of latex on fiber cement surfaces, including lap siding and sheet siding. Specified metal substrates will require three-coat systems of polyurethane enamel.
Interior work is scheduled to include a three-coat system of latex on concrete masonry units, steel and galvanized metal surfaces. A four-coat system of latex will be required on gypsum board and plaster surfaces.
Surfaces will require preparation in accordance with standards for Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), White Metal Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 5/NACE No. 1) and Pickling (SSPC-SP 8).
The manufacturers specified for this project are Benjamin Moore, Columbia, ICI Paints, Kelly-Moore, Kwal-Howells, PPG, Rodda and Sherwin-Williams.
