The City of Redding is soliciting bids for exterior painting at its City Hall building in Redding, California.

Exterior work involves a three-coat system consisting of one coat of epoxy and two coats of alkyd urethane on hand railings, bike racks, exterior stairs, steel pipe rails, metal sunshades, tube steel, decorative light poles, wall sconces, bollards, sign posts, mailboxes, trash enclosure, metal doors, roof access ladders and exterior facades.
A three-coat system of latex will be required on the building exterior, the exterior of the council chambers, specified trash enclosures, raised planters, fountain seats and soffits.
Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1) and Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3).
