Exterior work involves a three-coat system of latex on concrete, stucco, masonry, ferrous metal, zinc-coated metal and aluminum substrates.
Interior work is scheduled to include a three-coat system of epoxy on concrete and gypsum board surfaces. A three-coat system of latex will be required on wood, ferrous metal and zinc-coated metal surfaces.
Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1), Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3), White Metal Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 5/NACE No. 1), Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3) and Pickling (SSPC-SP 8).
Manufacturers specified for this project are Benjamin Moore & Co., Kelly-Moore Paints, PPG Paints, Sherwin-Williams or approved equal.
