Contractors Needed for TX Maintenance Facility

Missouri City is soliciting bids for the demolition of the current Parks Maintenance Facility and construction of a new 15,000-square-foot building.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. on June 8 in the City Hall Council Chambers in Missouri City, Texas.

The submittal date for this project is June 29.

Scope of Work

This project involves construction and painting of a new 15,000-square-foot parks maintenance facility in Missouri City, Texas.

Missouri City is soliciting bids for the demolition of the current Parks Maintenance Facility and construction of a new 15,000-square-foot building.

Exterior work involves a three-coat system of zinc-rich primer, epoxy and polyurethane on exposed structural steel framing and sub-framing at entry canopy, steel bollards, lintels and shelf angles.

Interior work is scheduled to include a three-coat system of latex on wallboard and ceilings; and a three-coat system of alkyd on interior trim, wallboard enamel and galvanized steel surfaces.

Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3).

Manufacturers specified for this project are Behr, Benjamin Moore & Co., ICI Paints, Kelly-Moore Paints, Pratt & Lambert, Sherwin-Williams and Tnemec.
