The City of North Port is soliciting bids for renovations to 13,510 square feet of space at Warm Mineral Springs Park.
The submittal date for this project is June 6. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. on May 13 in Room 244 at City Hall, located at 4970 City Hall Boulevard in North Port, Florida. A site visit is to follow.

The City of North Port is soliciting bids for renovations to 13,510 square feet of space at Warm Mineral Springs Park.

Exterior work involves a three-coat system of latex on fiber cement siding, trim and metal substrates.
Interior work is scheduled to include a three-coat system of epoxy on concrete masonry units. A three-coat system of latex is required on structural steel columns, structural and ornamental iron, joints, trusses, beams, drywall and gypsum board surfaces.
Surfaces must be cleaned and prepared in accordance with standards for Hand Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2), Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3), Brush-Off Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 7/NACE No. 4), Bare Metal Power Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 11) and Surface Preparation of Concrete (SSPC-SP 13/NACE No. 6).
Manufacturers specified for this project are Behr, Benjamin Moore & Co. and Sherwin-Williams.
