Conroe Independent School District is soliciting bids for the construction of a new school building in Montgomery County, Texas.

Exterior work involves three-coat systems of latex on galvanized metal, ferrous metal, plaster and wood surfaces; a two-coat system of waterproof coating on masonry units; and three-coat systems of waterproof coating and latex on concrete substrates.
Interior work is scheduled to include a three-coat system of latex on gypsum drywall and ceilings; a three-coat system of epoxy on specified gypsum drywall and ceilings; a three-coat system of latex on metal surfaces; a three-coat system of alkyd on shop metal substrates, steel joists and wood fiber decks; a four-coat system of latex on concrete masonry surfaces; a four-coat system of epoxy on specified concrete masonry surfaces; a three-coat system of latex on wood surfaces; and a three-coat system of wood stain and polyurethane on specified wood substrates.
Surfaces are to be cleaned and prepared according to standards for Hand Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 2) and Surface Preparation of Concrete (SSPC-SP 13/NACE No. 6).
Manufacturers specified for this project are Benjamin Moore & Co., Pratt & Lambert and Tnemec.
