TX College Soliciting Bids for Renovations

Northeast Texas Community College is soliciting bids for renovations to an existing storage building in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

 A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Dec. 14 at the project site. Attendance is not mandatory, but encouraged.

The submittal date for this project is Jan. 11.

Scope of Work

This project involves renovating and painting a storage building on the Northeast Texas Community College campus to convert it into a health sciences simulation lab in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Northeast Texas Community College is soliciting bids for renovations to an existing storage building in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Exterior work involves a three-coat system of latex on concrete, unprimed ferrous metal and galvanized metal substrates. Primed metal surfaces will require a two-coat system of latex. Wood trim and surfaces will require a two-coat system of stain.

Interior work is scheduled to include three-coat systems of latex on certain wood, concrete, unprimed ferrous metal, galvanized metal and exposed metal substrates. Other wood surfaces will require a three-coat system of stain, sealer and polyurethane or varnish.

Primed ferrous metal and gypsum board substrates will require a two-coat system of latex. Certain concrete and masonry surfaces will require a three-coat system of epoxy.
