Scope of Work
This project involves the replacement of one wastewater treatment plant master lift station pump.
Surface preparation for all interior and exterior metal surfaces will include abrasive blast-cleaning to standards associated with Commercial Finish (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3). However, excluded from this will be metal surfaces that are submerged or in the splash zone; these surfaces will be prepared with the standards associated with Near White Metal Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 10/NACE No. 2).

Non-submerged, above grade steel surfaces will receive a coating of epoxy polyamide primer and a finish coat of acrylic-polyurethane. All submerged or buried metal will receive a two-coat system consisting of one coat of epoxy polyamine primer and a finish coat of high-solids polyamine epoxy. Approved coating manufactures for these systems are Tnemec, or an approved equivalent.
This project includes acid etching or abrasive blast-cleaning of concrete floors. The concrete floors will receive a coating of dustproof sealer. Approved coating manufacturers for the concrete flooring are CT Densyfier or approved equivalents.
Work for this project will also include the application of a silicone waterproofing sealant to all new brick work or concrete wall structures.
