The Oregon Department of Employment is accepting bids for capital improvements to its Baker City office.
The submittal date for this project is Sept. 30.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Sept. 16 at 9 a.m. PST at the project site.

This project involves painting and repairs to the Baker City Employment Division building, located at 1575 Dewey Ave., Baker City, Oregon 97814.

Exterior work involves a three-coat system of latex on primed metal and wood substrates. Galvanized steel surfaces will require a three-coat system consisting of one coat water-based primer, and two coats latex.
Interior work is scheduled to include a three-coat system of latex on doors, trim, gypsum board and wood surfaces.
Surface preparation standards have not been specified by the project owner.
Manufacturers specified for this project are Sherwin-Williams, Behr, PPG Paints and Rodda Paint Co.
