The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is currently seeking contractors to replace one reservoir wastewater system.

Contractors will use abrasive blast-cleaning and solvent cleaning (SSPC-SP 1, SP 6, SP 10) for carbon steel, cast iron and ductile iron surfaces. Followed by that, surfaces will be coated using a three-coat high solids epoxy coating system.
Cementitious surfaces or concrete surfaces will have an application of a chemical resistant three-coat system.
The owner-approved coating manufacturers and brands are 3M, Akzo Nobel, PPG, KCC Corrosion Control, Koster American or ITW Devcon.
