PA Elevated Tank Rehab Out for Bid

The Horsham Water and Sewer Authority is currently seeking contractors to rehabilitate and coat the Maple Avenue Elevated Tank in Horsham, Pennsylvania.

Bids are due April 15.

Scope of Work

This project involves coating and repairing an existing 300,000-gallon elevated water storage tank.

The Horsham Water and Sewer Authority is currently seeking contractors to rehabilitate and coat the Maple Avenue Elevated Tank in Horsham, Pennsylvania.

Contractors will coat the interior wall, floor and ceiling surfaces with a zinc-rich primer and 100% solids epoxy finish system.

The exterior tank surfaces will be coated with a three-coat system including a zinc-rich primer, and acrylic-polyurethane intermediate and finish.

The concrete tank foundation will be coated with a zinc-rich primer, epoxy intermediate and acrylic finish.

Containment practices are required.

The owner-approved coating manufacturer is Tnemec.
