FL Airport Seeks Bids for Terminal, Office Building

The Naples Airport Authority in Naples, Florida, is seeking bids for the improvement of the aviation terminal and office building.

The submittal date for this project is March 15.

Scope of Work

In this project, all interior concrete surfaces are to be coated using a three-coat system made up of one coat of primer followed by two coats of acrylic. Next, gypsum surfaces are to be coated using a three-coat system consisting of one coat of primer and two coats of acrylic.

Metal surfaces are to be coated using a three-coat system that is to be made up of one coat of primer and two finish coats.

Exterior cement shall be coated using a three-coat system made up of one coat of block filler followed by two coats of acrylic. Finally, exterior metal shall be coated using a three-coat system consisting of primer and two coats of epoxy.

All metal surfaces to be coated shall be cleaned with the standards associated with Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6), Solvent Cleaning (SSPC-SP 1) and Power-Tool Cleaning (SSPC- SP 3).

The brands specified for this project are Benjamin Moore, Glidden and PPG.
