The New Jersey Department of Transportation is seeking contractors interested in overseeing the rehabilitation of an existing bridge. The project will include waterproofing concrete surfaces and coating steel surfaces.

The chosen contractor will oversee epoxy waterproofing 652 square yards of concrete surfaces. Approved coating and staining manufacturers are Kaufman Products, Sika, and Simpson Strong Tie.
The work also includes abrasive blast cleaning steel surfaces to Near White Standards (SSPC-SP 10/NACE No. 2). The steel surfaces will be coated with an organic zinc-rich primer, high-build epoxy intermediate coat, and urethane finish coating system. Approved coating and staining manufacturers are Carboline, International Paint, MAB, Ameron (PPG), and Sherwin-Williams.
