In this project, all gypsum wall surfaces are to be coated using a three-coat system that consists of primer followed by two coats of latex. All wood surfaces are to be coated using a three-coat system that is made up of one coat of primer and two coats of semi-gloss latex.
All ferrous metal surfaces are to be coated using a three-coat system. This system will be one coat of acrylic metal primer followed by two coats of latex.
Metal surfaces to be coated shall be cleaned with the standards associated with Power-Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3) and Power-Tool Cleaning to Bare Metal (SSPC-SP 11).
The brands specified for this project are Kelly-Moore, Dunn-Edwards, Glidden Professional, PPG and Tnemec.
