Exterior painted wood trim surfaces are to be coated using a three-coat system that consists of one coat of primer followed by two coats of acrylic latex. Stained wood surfaces are to be coated using a two-coat system that is comprised of two coats of acrylic latex.
Ferrous metal and aluminum surfaces are to be coated using a three-coat system made up of one coat of primer, and two coats of latex. Finally, exterior masonry surface are to be coated using a three-coat system that is made up of one coat primer, one coat acrylic gloss finish and an additional gloss coating.
Interior gypsum drywall surfaces are to be coated using a three-coat system that consists of three coats of latex. Natural finish woodwork is to be coated using a three-coat system that includes one coat of primer, one coat of enamel and one coat of semi-gloss enamel.
Brands specified in this project are Sherwin-Williams, Tnemec, ICC, PPG, Benjamin Moore, Samuel Cabbot, Olympic Stain, Darworth, The Flecto Company, Duron and approved equals.
