Bids Needed for OH Ballpark Waterproofing

Hamilton County—in the area of Cincinnati, Ohio—is seeking bids for the concrete and waterproofing of the Great American Ball Park, home to Major League Baseball's Cincinnati Reds.

The submittal date for this project is Feb. 18.

Scope of Work

This project involves the concrete repair and waterproofing of the Great American Ball Park.

All steel surfaces within this project will be coated using a two-coat system that consists of two coats of bar coating. All concrete surfaces in this project are to be repaired and coated using an epoxy coating system.

Prior to concrete placement, membrane areas are to be high-pressure waterblasted. Finally, all repaired concrete surfaces are to be sealed after receiving one coat of primer.

Surface preparation and cleaning for this project includes Wire Wheel Cleaning (SSPC-SP3) and Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP6).
